Rescued ‘mutt’ offers support to 102nd Intelligence Wing

“Zoe, a sleek Labrador retriever mix rescued from an Arkansas shelter about 18 months ago, now returns the favor as a trained “morale” dog for the 102nd Intelligence Wing.”

“The high-stress missions assigned to the 102nd — where several members are classified as ‘deployed in place’ based on the work they do — prompted Jill Garvin, director of psychological health for the wing, to consider the benefits of a so-called morale dog.”
